Just choose: Tate Modern (modern and contemporary art) or Tate Britain (British art), on the banks of the Thames; National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery in Trafalgar Square.
Alternatively, two smaller but no less impressive galleries: the Wallace Collection , which is just off Oxford St. and the Serpentine Galleries , two art exhibition spaces in the middle of Hyde Park.
