Gardens by The Bay – Things to do and see when at the Gardens

Photo:

Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s newest attractions. It is located by Marina Bay, which is a newly developed area of Singapore. I remember when it was all empty reclaimed land. Gardens by the Bay can be spotted from a distance due to the distinctive shape of the Supertrees, which look like giant trees on an alien landscape. You may remember seeing the trees in the film Crazy Rich Asians. If you don’t have a fear of heights, you can travel up to the Observatory at the top of the tallest Supertree for an amazing view of Marina Bay and beyond.

Another place to check out at the Gardens by the Bay is the Flower Dome, which is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. In fact, it is the size of 75 Olympic-sized swimming pools! The Flower Dome houses unique plants which are native from all around the world. They can survive in Singapore’s tropical climate thanks to the controlled temperature in the dome.
