If you’re going to Hong Kong the Tram is going to give you the best view over Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Show up early to avoid the queues and be wary of the taxis which will take you to the top and charge you a fortune. If you do decide to get a Taxi make sure you negotiate before you get in the taxi.
The buses are also an option and if you’re super keen you can walk up the track from the base.
